Call for Contributors with Knowledge of Linux Backup Solutions!

We’re looking for contributors with an understanding of Linux backup solutions who can help us help the community protect their critical data in the event of a ransomware attack by providing insight into how to back up files on Linux desktops, servers and enterprise systems.

If you would like to contribute an article on this topic, we suggest that you explore:

• The concept of data backup
• The importance of having an effective backup plan in place, and the benefits of automating backup scheduling 
• Linux backup tools/solutions (we love Timeshift, Rsync, Cloudberry and Bacula)
• Potential security risks associated with using a backup tool and how to avoid common pitfalls
